SLAAI-International Conference on Artificial Intelligence – 2018 (SLAAI-ICAI -2018), the main international gathering of researchers in AI, is proudly presented by Sri Lanka Association for Artificial Intelligence. SLAAI-ICAI-2018 provides a forum to interconnect world class researchers in AI and to share smart innovations which addresses the greatest challenges faced by the businesses and society at large. The conference will be held in December 20, 2018 at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

    Professor Vilas Wuwongse

    University Advisor for Research and Information Technology, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat Univeristy, Thailand. Professor Vilas Wuwongse obtained his B.Eng., M.Eng. and Ph.D. from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1977, 1979 and 1982, respectively. He joined the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) as a faculty member from 1982 and retired in 2012.

    Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Karunya University, India. Professor D. Jude Hemanth received his B.E degree in ECE from Bharathiar University in 2002, M.E degree in communication systems from Anna University in 2006 and Ph.D. from Karunya University in 2013. His research areas include Computational Intelligence and Image processing.

    SLAAI-ICAI -2018 welcomes submissions across all areas of AI. The conference scope covers all subareas of AI, including (but not limited to) following topics.

    We encourage all types of contributions in the area of AI including surveys, theoretical, engineering and applied. We also encourage innovations with AI techniques in the context of application domains, such as security, education, health care, transportation and commerce.

     

    Call for Papers

    All papers submitted to this conference will go through a double blind peer review process handled by the programme committee. Acceptance will be based on originality, significance, technical soundness, presentation, and references. The conference programme committee makes the final decision on the acceptance or rejection of a paper. View more details here .

    Paper Submission

    SLAAI-ICAI is now accepting manuscript submissions. Prospective authors are invited to submit their full papers with 15 pages maximum. Please note that NO short papers or extended abstracts will be accepted. All peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be published in prestigious Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series of Springer (Scopus Indexed).

    The authors are advised to submit their manuscripts for reviewing once their drafts are ready, instead of waiting till the submission deadline. It is our target that the reviewing process for each submitted manuscript can be completed within four weeks from its submission. Then, the participants will have more time to prepare for their conference registration and other related activities.

    Paper preparation

    All papers should be written in English. Proof reading and grammar checking is strongly encourage before submitting the papers. Download the paper template and follow when preparing manuscripts.

    All submission should be online. Follow to the submission link to submit your papers.

    Registration

    All paper presenters must register and pay for the conference on or before November 01, 2018. For each paper at least one author should register.
    Together with registration, students must submit a signed and endorsed letter of confirmation of their studentships from the respective institutions to qualify for the rates applicable for students.
    Early bird registration and payment deadline is November 01, 2018, which gives 10% discount to the total of the applicable registration fee.
